2. The Information I Collect & Why

In the course of operating my Website and/or interacting with you, I will collect and/or receive the following types of information:

a) Contact Information

When you sign up to receive my newsletter, contact me using my contact form, respond to a survey, register for a class, or purchase any service, you may be required to provide me with certain information about yourself, such as your name, address, email address, and/or phone number (“Contact Information”).  The Contact Information is used to provide the requested service, to fulfill the purpose of your interaction with me, and/or to inform you of my current and future services.

b) Billing Information

When you wish to purchase a service, you will be required to provide certain information in addition to the Contact Information noted above.  Such information may include a debit card number, credit card number, expiration date, billing address, activation codes, and similar information (“Billing Information”).  Billing Information is collected and processed by my third-party payment processor operating as my agent (see Sharing With Third Parties).  Jamie Csizmadia does not directly obtain, process, or store any Billing Information.

c) Personal Information

When you wish to purchase a service, you may be required to provide personal information about yourself such as preferences, interests, experiences, and/or intentions (“Personal Information”).  When you have purchased a service, you may voluntarily share Personal Information.  The Personal Information is used to customize the service to you and to help me improve my service to my Clients.  The Personal Information is held within the strictest confidence and is only viewed by me.

d) Health & Wellbeing Information

When you wish to purchase a service, you may voluntarily share information relating to your personal history, including trauma history, recovery history, or physical or emotional wellbeing, where relevant to the service offering. This information is held in strict confidence and viewed only by me. This is special category data under UK GDPR, and I only process it with your explicit consent, given at the time you share it.

I process your information under one or more of the following lawful bases: your consent, performance of a contract with you, my legitimate interests in operating and improving my business, and compliance with a legal obligation.

3. Additional Uses

I use the information I collect to provide my services, process bookings and orders, maintain and improve the Website and my offerings, respond to your enquiries, and, where you've opted in, keep you informed about my services.

4. Sharing with Third Parties

I work with Third-Party Companies to perform certain business functions, including website hosting (Wix), email and newsletter delivery (Kit), contact form creation (Tally), and payment processing (Stripe). These providers have access to your information only to the extent needed to perform their function, and only in accordance with applicable data protection law. I do not sell, rent, or trade your Contact Information, Billing Information, Personal Information, or Health & Wellbeing Information to any third party.

5. Disclosures to Public Authorities

I may disclose personal data where required to do so by law, including in response to a court order, subpoena, or lawful request from a public authority or regulator.

6. International Data Transfers

Some of my Third-Party Companies (such as Wix, Kit, Tally, or Stripe) may store or process data outside the UK. Where this occurs, I take reasonable steps to ensure your information is protected to a standard consistent with UK GDPR, including reliance on providers' Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards where applicable.

7. Data Retention

I retain your information for as long as necessary to provide my services, meet legal or accounting requirements, and maintain accurate business records. Session-related notes and summaries are typically retained for 7 years, after which they are securely deleted. You may request earlier deletion of your data at any time, subject to Section 9 below.

8. Opt-Out for Newsletter

You may opt out of my newsletter at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" at the bottom of any newsletter, or by contacting me. Please allow a reasonable amount of time for me to process your request.

9. Your Rights and How to Contact Me

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data I hold about you

  • Request correction of inaccurate data

  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")

  • Object to or restrict certain processing

  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format

  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, contact me. I aim to respond within one month, as required by law. If you're unsatisfied with my response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. Clients cannot opt out of transactional emails related to an active booking or purchase.

10. Information You Share in Public or Group Settings

I may host, or in the future host, group programs such as webinars, workshops, courses, or community discussions ("Public Programs"). Information you voluntarily share in these settings is not covered by this Privacy Policy. Information shared in Public Programs is not private. It may be seen, recorded, or referenced by me, other participants, or the public. I use such information only to support the educational and developmental purpose of the program. If you'd like to preserve anonymity in a Public Program, you're welcome to keep your video off and use a preferred first name only. Please think carefully before sharing anything you'd prefer to keep private in a group setting.

11. How I Protect Your Information

I take reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational steps to protect your Contact Information, Billing Information, Personal Information, and Health & Wellbeing Information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, or disclosure. No system is completely secure, and I can't guarantee the security of information transmitted to me over the internet, including by email. Please use discretion when sending sensitive information electronically.

12. Children

My services are not directed at, or intended for use by, children. I do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16 through the Website. If you are under 16, please do not give me any personal information.  I encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor your children’s internet usage and to help enforce my Privacy Policy by instructing your children to never provide personal information through my Website without your permission. If you believe a child under 16 has provided me with personal data, please contact me and I will take steps to delete it.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Website or my services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. I encourage you to check back periodically.
